Wycherley has a rare calibre of dedicated teachers who are tri-lingual, especially those who head the Junior School Sections. Many members of our faculty have been teaching at Wycherley for two decades or more while Seventy percent have been at Wycherley for over 10 years. Their skills are regularly upgraded to keep them up to date with the latest technology and best practices in the UK and around the world.
Wycherley focuses on developing learning skills by rewarding high academic achievement. Our teachers are committed to delivering the very best of the Cambridge Curriculum, grooming children from the early years for the Cambridge Examinations. Teaching and learning at Wycherley pivot on stimulating curiosity, taking a structured approach to solving problems and inculcating respect towards others and new ideas.
As children progress from Grade to Grade, they are provided with challenges appropriate for their age. Values such as compassion and respect are an integral part of the school ethos. Our strength is the rich cultural mix and our children learn to make friends with people from the different cultural backgrounds, preparing them for an increasingly multi-cultural world, with proficiency not only in English but in local languages, with focus and respect for the nation’s variety of its cultural heritage.
